One bot engine, built into every server.

No bot to invite, no server to host, no token to babysit. The Vronify.chat bot engine is part of the platform itself: flip one switch in your server settings and your community gets welcome cards, custom commands, reaction roles, leveling, tickets, and more.

What the bot engine is.

An automation layer that lives inside the platform, not bolted onto it.

On most chat platforms, automation means trusting a stranger. You invite a third-party bot, grant it sweeping permissions, and hope whoever runs it keeps it online, keeps it safe, and does not quietly log everything your members say. When their server goes down, your welcome messages, role menus, and moderation logging go down with it.

The Vronify.chat bot engine takes the opposite approach. It is one engine, built by us, running on the same infrastructure that already delivers your messages. There is nothing to install and nobody external to trust. Every server gets its own instance of the bot, switched on and configured by the server owner, and it only ever acts inside the server it was enabled for.

Because the engine is native, it is fast in the same way the rest of the platform is fast: it reacts to events the moment they happen, on the same machines, with no webhook round-trips to somebody's cloud function.

Not live yet, but close

The bot engine is not switched on for everyone yet. We are finishing it right now, and it will roll out to all servers soon. This page describes how it works so you can plan ahead; keep an eye on the changelog for the release announcement.

How it works.

Four steps from a quiet server to an automated one. No code required.

1

Switch it on

Open your server settings and enable the bot. That is the entire installation. The bot appears in your member list like any other member, with its own profile.

2

Pick your features

Every feature is its own toggle: welcome cards, auto-reactions, message log, custom commands, reaction roles, leveling, tickets. Turn on only what your community needs, and change your mind at any time.

3

The engine listens for events

A member joins, a message lands, a reaction is added. Each of those becomes an event inside your server, and the engine checks it against the rules you configured, instantly and on our hardware.

4

It acts, with your server's permissions

When a rule matches, the bot acts: it posts the welcome card, grants the role, logs the deletion, answers the command. Everything it does stays inside your server and is visible to you.

Everything it will do at launch.

Seven features, each one a toggle, each one configurable per server.

Welcome cards

Greet every new member with a card in the channel you choose. Set the message, point newcomers at your rules, and make joining feel like arriving instead of lurking.

Auto-reactions

The bot reacts to messages that match your triggers. Celebrate every post in your showcase channel, or stamp announcements automatically so members know they are official.

Message log

Edits and deletions get recorded to a private staff channel. When something disappears, your moderators can still see what it said, who wrote it, and when it changed.

Custom commands

Define your own commands with your own replies. Frequently asked questions, invite links, event schedules: type the trigger, and the bot answers instantly, every time.

Reaction roles

Members pick their own roles by reacting to a message you set up. Pronouns, interests, notification tiers: self-service roles without a moderator lifting a finger.

Leveling & XP

Active members earn XP for participating and level up over time. Reward your regulars, surface your most engaged members, and give lurkers a reason to say hello.

Tickets

Members open a private ticket with your staff in one click. Support requests, reports, and appeals get their own space instead of getting lost in a busy channel.

A face of its own

Rename the bot, give it an avatar, a banner, a status, and a bio. To your members it is not our bot in your server: it is your server's bot.

More on the way

The engine is built so we can keep adding features without you reconfiguring anything. When new features ship, they show up as new toggles in the same settings pane.

Automation without the usual tax.

Everything a hosted bot gives you, with none of what it costs you.

Powerful, inside clear limits.

An automation layer should serve the server it belongs to, and nothing else.

What the bot engine does

  • Acts only in servers where the owner switched it on
  • Runs on our infrastructure, with platform-level uptime
  • Keeps every action visible to the server owner
  • Stores its configuration with your server, not with a third party

What it never does

  • Read your direct messages, which stay private
  • Send your community's data to anyone outside the platform
  • Run third-party code inside your server
  • Outrank you: the bot can never become server owner

Questions about the bot engine.

When can I use it?

Soon. The bot engine is in active development and this page describes what it does when it arrives. It is not switched on for servers yet. The release will be announced in the changelog, and it will appear as a new pane in your server settings the moment it goes live.

Do I need to host anything or write code?

No. The engine runs entirely on our infrastructure, the same machines that already run your server. Configuration happens in your server settings with toggles and text fields. Custom commands are defined by typing the trigger and the reply, not by programming.

Will it cost anything?

The bot engine ships as part of the platform, the same way channels and roles do. Like everything else on Vronify.chat, core features stay free, with no surprise paywalls.

Can I invite bots from other platforms instead?

Vronify.chat does not run third-party bot code inside servers. That is a deliberate choice: it is how we can promise that no external party can read your channels or take your automation offline. The trade-off is that automation comes from the built-in engine, which we keep extending. If the engine is missing something your community needs, tell us and it goes on the roadmap.

Which permissions does the bot get?

Only the ones its enabled features need, inside your server. It posts messages, adds reactions, grants the roles you configured, and writes to the log channel you chose. It cannot be promoted to server owner, and disabling a feature immediately stops everything that feature was doing.

Does the bot see my DMs?

No. Direct messages on Vronify.chat are private, and neither we nor the bot engine read them. The engine only processes events inside servers where it has been enabled by the owner.
